August 2016–Take Your Pick

Good afternoon lovely crafty Tonic peeps and welcome to our fourth Win & Tonic challenge.
Thanks again to everybody who joined us last month.

Lots of you used the new Win & Tonic facebook page –  you can find it here …

https://www.facebook.com/groups/318826021798173/

... and we hope that it helped anybody who has been struggling to upload their cards.

In case you missed it last month, if you leave your cards on that FB page,
we will pick them up from there and add them onto here for you so that you are allocated a number
to add you into the random draw (we don’t want it public so you will have to join the group).
It saves you emailing the cards over etc etc so it does seem to help.

OK so what’s on for this month?

Well this month we have another

Take Your Pick

challenge, and in case you aren’t familiar with this, it’s ever so easy and here’s how it works.

There’s a list of options and you can choose any of the options.
You can also combine some of the options if you want to so.
There’s a colour option, a technique option, a product option and a theme option.
And this month they are -

Colour
– free choice, so that means you can use any colour that you want.

Technique - embossing, either heat or folders or dies.

Theme – Christmas in August

So for example you may decide that you want to go with just one of the options  or you may decide that you want to combine some of the options like some of us have.
The options we have chosen are listed with our cards.

You don’t have to do all the options unless you want to of course, so the choice is yours - it is really simple and easy and very flexible.
Any questions please just yell – leave a comment below and we will get back to you.

Now of course, we have a prize up for grabs and this month it is a full set of the fabulous new Christmas header dies -

So 4 very good reasons to join in with us.
And of course, hugest of thanks to Tonic for sponsoring us and for their continued support.

June 2016–Take Your Pick

Good morning lovely crafty Tonic peeps and welcome to our second Win & Tonic challenge.

Thanks again to everybody who joined us last month.
As some of you had problems getting your cards over onto here, to hopefully make things a little bit easier for you, there’s now a Win & Tonic facebook page and you can find it here -

https://www.facebook.com/groups/318826021798173/

This is just a place for anybody who is struggling to upload their cards.
We will pick them up from there and add them onto here for you so that you are allocated a number to add you into the random draw (we don’t want it public so you will have to join the group).
It will save you emailing the cards over etc etc and we hope that this helps.

Can we ask please that there’s no chat on there - it’s cards only and it isn’t replacing the main challenge – that will stay here.
But we thought that this might help you.

OK so what’s on for this month?

Well last month we had Anything Goes and we will have this again from time to time, but this month we have a

Colour - orange (of course!!)

Technique - create your base card from any Tonic die

Product - use any Tonic flower die or flower punch

Theme - one for the boys or happy Father's Day

So for example you may decide that you want to go with just one of the options - Ali and Pamela did that and they chose the theme option and made a card for a man or boy or Father’s Day.
Ruth also chose just one option and she included a Tonic flower die – the product option.
You may decide that you want to combine some of the options like Claire, Doda,  Edna, Karen and Dawny did and the options they chose are listed with their cards.  .

You don’t have to do all the options unless you want to of course, so the choice is yours - it is really simple and easy and very flexible.
Any questions please just yell – leave a comment below and we will get back to you

Now of course, we have a prize up for grabs and as our colour choice this month is orange, we went with something that’s almost orange.
In fact it’s gold and

goldbox_RGB-600x600 copy

… it’s only a fabulous gold toy box – how awesome!!
And of course, hugest of thanks to Tonic for sponsoring us and for their continued support.

So what have our fabulous teamies done this month?

Ruth chose the product option (flower die)

Edna
chose the colour and product options (orange and flower dies)

Doda
chose the colour option, orange

Pamela
chose the theme (Father's day)

Claire
chose the colour and technique options (orange and Bowscale to make the base)

Ali
chose the theme (Father's Day)

]

Karen
made 2 cards, choosing the theme and technique options  for one (Happy Father's Day and Flip Flop die for her base card),

... and she chose the Father's Day theme for this one

Dawny
chose the colour and product options (orange and flower dies)

So that’s our cards and now it’s over to you.
Remember you can enter as many times as you want but please do make it a new card as we don’t allow backlinking -  please take a minute to check the rules in the sidebar if you’re not sure.

And if you get a sec, please do stop by at our blogs –we love having visitors

Have a fabulous month and see you on 14th July with the winner’s post.

May 2016 - Anything Goes

Hello crafty friends and welcome to the very first Win & Tonic Challenge.

This first post is a little longer than it normally will be, but that’s because we have lots to tell you, so please bear with us xx.

We know that you love Tonic products as much as we do and the purpose of this monthly challenge is, we hope, to inspire you with lots of lovely ideas and maybe different ways to use your Tonic stash.
And there’s a fabulous prize up for grabs as well, courtesy of Tonic Studios (thank you xx).

Please don’t worry if you are a beginner because this challenge is open to absolutely everybody and our winners will always be chosen at random –
how could we possibly choose from the beautiful creations we know that you will make.

There aren’t too many rules but please be aware of the few we have – you can find them in the sidebar.
If in any doubt, please just ask us and we will be very happy to help you.

We have the most fabulous design team here to inspire you and there are some familiar names as you will see.
In time, we may well have guest designer spots as well, where we will invite one or more of you to join us for a few months.

So we are pleased to introduce our super talented girls and they are -

Ali

Claire

Dawny P

Edna

Jo

Karen

Mandy

Pamela

Paula

Ruth

So that’s our team, and now for our theme!!
For our first outing, we thought we would  have a nice and easy theme to get us all started, so this month it's

Anything Goes

This means that you are free to make whatever you want, and as long as it contains something Tonic along the way, then you will be eligible for entry into the draw for the prize.
From next month, we will have a Take your Pick theme and there will hopefully be something there that appeals to everybody, bu
t more of that in June.
We will also have more Anything Goes themes along the way as well.

Up for grabs this month is this fantastic prize which will be weaving its way to one lucky winner next month  -

Once you've made your card or project,  just  leave a link using the blue Inlinkz button at the bottom of the post.
Our winners will be announced on 14th of the month, the day before we go live with the next challenge, and your entries must be in by 11pm on 13th of the month please.

If you’ve never entered a blog challenge before, it’s ever so easy to do.
I’ve added a page at the top of this blog called Entering The Challenge and there are details on there which explain how it works and what you need to do.

If you don’t have a blog but use Facebook or Instagram to post your crafty pics, then don’t worry because you can still enter.
Our technical guru Pamela has put together a video which shows you how you do this (it has no sound and is very easy to follow), and there is also a file there as well for you to read.
Hugest of thanks Pamela for doing this xx

So  all that remains is for us to say a huge thank you to everybody who will take part, to our fab team for their gorgeous makes  and to our sponsor, Tonic.
Have a fabulous month and we will see you here in June.
